Football and Terror! ISIS behead 4 Footballers Accused of Spying in Syria
ISIS militants
have executed four footballers in Syria after they were accused of spying for
Syrian rebels.
This comes after
the religious leader of the dreaded terrorist group declared that supporting
football was anti-Islamic.
The victims, who
played for the popular Al-Shabab side, were beheaded in front of a crowd of
children in Raqqa, with the dissident group posting the gruesome pictures on
their Twitter feed, Metro writes.

In a series of
tweets, a campaign group in Raqqa named the victims as Osama Abu Kuwait, Ihsan
Al Shuwaikh, Nehad Al Hussen and Ahmed Ahawakh.
ISIS banned
organised sports including football when they took over the city two years ago
and have since unleashed terror on fans and players.
Recently, ISIS
militants executed 13 teenage boys in the Iraqi City of Mosul for watching the
Asian Cup football match between Iraq and Jordan. The young football fans
had been caught watching the game on television in the Iraqi city of Mosul,
which is controlled by the Islamic State.
The teenagers
were rounded up and publicly executed by a firing squad using machine guns.
