Adele to Become an Author of Fiction During Her Next Break
Like she did
with music, Adele is getting set to storm the literary scene with a work
of fiction.
The international recording artiste known for her long hiatus from
music after an album and tour, expressed her desire to become a published
author the next time she takes a break from music.
The mother of
one and vocal powerhouse made this announcement at a Chicago concert to
the delight of teeming fans, Mirror reports. She seeks to explore her
literary side by putting out a work of fiction, though she is still undecided
on what subject matter her book will explore.
“I’d like to write a book. I mean, I’m not very great at stuff like that but I’d like to learn and try to write a book. Fiction. I don’t know what about yet.”
The extremely
private Adele who is still on tour might have fans waiting a while for her
authorial debut into the literary world as she is reportedly set to sign a £90
million record deal with Sony.
“We have secured the biggest music star in a generation. This is massive. Adele’s deal with her original label XL expired and we’d an existing relationship with her in America. The deal is being worked on by our Columbia label in the US, but is worth £90 million and gives Sony the rights to release her future music exclusively around the world”. a Sony Music insider stated.
Becoming a
published author will be yet another milestone for the “Hello” singer who
admitted to being creative when she’s “momentarily depressed”.
Though
we wish her only good we hope the creative juices that helped in composing and
performing songs like “Hello” and “Fire to the Rain” flow in
abundance when she starts scribbling on her first fiction manuscript.
