Big Deal! Tiwa Savage Honoured With ‘Hero of the Month’ Award in South Africa

Today, Tiwa Savage revealed that she was honoured by South African media house, Reel African, as the hero of the month.


In a brief ceremony held in the southern African country, the Mavin queen, flanked by the board members of Reel African, was presented with a plaque.

“It was such an honor to receive this and it really means a lot to me,” Savage writes, adding, “Making music is just part of my story. Touching lives and using my platform to make a change no matter how little is ultimately the goal and this award just reminds me of how important that is.”

“A huge thank you to @matthewmensah you’ve been such a sweetheart and an incredible help to me #ILoveSA#siyabonga #RED,” she added.

And she is very deserving of the award!

Recall that the #Red singer recently inked a deal with Jay Z’s Roc Nation. While the world waits for the details of the agreement between Nigeria’s Mavin and Roc Nation, the mum of one, who recently was embroiled in a bitter feud with her husband Tee Billz, is already bouncing back to the music scene, taking her rightful place.
