Senate Forgery: Saraki, Ekweremadu Trial Postponed to September 28

The ongoing trial of Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu and two others at a Federal High Court sitting in Jabi, Abuja was on Monday postponed due to the annual vacation of judicial workers.


Unaware of the development, Saraki and Ekweremadu had to go back after turning up at the court for Monday’s scheduled hearing.

Both leaders of the Red Chamber, along with a former clerk of the National Assembly, Salisu Maikasuwa and the Deputy clerk, Benedict Efeturi are facing a two-count charge of criminal conspiracy and forgery of the senate standing rule‎s, 2015. All four accused persons were granted bail June 27 by presiding judge, Justice Yusuf Halilu.

However, the court did not sit today owing to the recess, which is expected to last till September.
“As you can see, the accused persons just arrived but the matter will not be coming up today because the court is on recess,” a source told Daily Post. 
“The accused persons will come back later for a date on when the trial will resume but that will be after the judicial vacation which will end sometime in September” he added.
The source further stated that the court has fixed September 28, 2016 for continuation of trials.

‘Queen of SnapChat’ YesJulz Sex Tape Hits the Internet, and it’s Horrible

YesJulz’ sex tape has finally hit the internet. The tape which shows the acclaimed ‘Queen of Snapchat’ having sex with a male photographer was leaked by two people she recruited to work with her. According to  Bossip , the two people – a Miami-based fitness model, Hencha Voigt, and another man, Wesley Victor – hacked into Julz’ phone, got her explicit photos and the sex tape YesJulz recorded. The duo then threatened to release them to the public within 24hrs if she didn’t pay them $18,000 cash. The Miami Beach Police said that Voigt and Victor sent Julz some of the pictures and videos as proof. “ 18K cash … you can have them back as I said you dope chick. I like your movment look if I feel any fun business game over your choice,”  Victor said in his message to Julz last week, and then they gave her a 24-hour deadline.
