Man United Land Paul Pogba in World Record €110 Transfer Fee
Manchester
United have agreed on a deal with Juventus to sign Paul Pogba for a world
record €110 million, Goal reports.
United executive
vice-chairman Ed Woodward agreed the deal on Wednesday with Juve directors
Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici, as well as the player’s agent Mino Raiola.
The Red Devils
will now pay a fee of €110m for the France midfielder, which eclipses
the previous record set when Real Madrid coughed out €100m for Gareth Bale in
2013.
The 23-year-old
has been brought in on a five-year deal with Jose Mourinho’s men and will be on
a £210,000-a-week net salary, which almost triples his current wages at
Juve.

Pogba who
starred for Les Blues at Euro 2016, had also been linked with the likes of
Real, but they were priced out of the move and he was happy to leave Juventus
despite United not playing in the Champions League next season.
Asked about
United earlier this month during an interview with ESPN in Spanish, Pogba
replied: “It was my first family.”
He originally
left United for Juventus four years ago due to a lack of first-team
opportunities under former boss Sir Alex Ferguson, and his return to the club
will cap a busy start in the transfer market for Mourinho.
United have
already added Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to their
squad as they look to settle down quickly into the new season.
