Yemi Alade Rocks N2.5 Million Dress to the BET Awards and Fans Drag her Mercilessly: ‘Is This What You do With Your Money?!’

Yemi Alade’s fashion statement at the just concluded BET Awards, which held last night in Los Angeles, has got her fans talking and not many have nice things to say.



The Gode singer, who was nominated in the “Best International Act: Africa” category,  graced the red carpet of the awards ceremony, rocking a dress from celebrated designer Zuhair Murad’s 2016 Resort Collection. Just so you know how big Zuhair Murad is, celebrities like Michelle Obama, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez have worn some of his designs to top award ceremonies.

The dress is said to have cost Yemi a whopping sum of N2.5 million, and it is alleged that the 27-year-old singer geared up to bring back the award this year. Recall, that last year the Johnny crooner dragged the BET awards committee on social media after she lost out, calling their programme ‘glorified’ and accusing them of favoritism.

Well, after getting another nomination this year in the same category, Yemi shared her excitement on Instagram, saying “Thank you for the love….I would be no where without it. Thank you Jesus. VOTING DON START O! MAMAAFRICA SOLDIERS! LET’S BRING THIS HOME”

Sadly, Yemi lost out again this year to South Africa’s Black Coffee and now fans are dragging her for spending so much money on her dress and still losing.


Some, however, pointed out that it was her money and life afterall.

‘Queen of SnapChat’ YesJulz Sex Tape Hits the Internet, and it’s Horrible

YesJulz’ sex tape has finally hit the internet. The tape which shows the acclaimed ‘Queen of Snapchat’ having sex with a male photographer was leaked by two people she recruited to work with her. According to  Bossip , the two people – a Miami-based fitness model, Hencha Voigt, and another man, Wesley Victor – hacked into Julz’ phone, got her explicit photos and the sex tape YesJulz recorded. The duo then threatened to release them to the public within 24hrs if she didn’t pay them $18,000 cash. The Miami Beach Police said that Voigt and Victor sent Julz some of the pictures and videos as proof. “ 18K cash … you can have them back as I said you dope chick. I like your movment look if I feel any fun business game over your choice,”  Victor said in his message to Julz last week, and then they gave her a 24-hour deadline.
