Barbaric! 30-Year-Old-Man Rapes Neighbour’s 4-Year-Old Son, Mother Cries Out: ‘I Want Justice’

The Aguda Divisional Police Station, is currently investigating the case of a 30-year old man identified as Prince Ovivare, who allegedly defiled his neighbour’s four-year-old son.


According to Vanguard, the suspect had been caught after the victim’s mother saw her son emerging from the man’s room some days ago. The mother claims that her was playing in the compound after school on the said day while she was doing some house chores when she realised he was no longer outside.
“After sometime, when I did not hear his voice, I came outside and shouted his name. He ran out from a neighbour’s room and I asked him what he was doing there” she said. “It was then he told me Brother Prince was kissing him and put his ‘wee wee’ inside his bum bum“.
The boy’s mother claims that when she checked her son,she discovered he had some bruises on his buttocks and she immediately rushed to Aguda Police Station. She was referred to Mirabel Centre at Ikeja Teaching Hospital, and after the doctors did some tests, it was confirmed that the child had indeed been assaulted. The police then proceeded to arrest the suspect.

The mother lamented this wicked act done to her son:  “I want relevant agencies to come to my help for justice. I need justice for this wickedness done to my child. My son is traumatised.” The outraged woman revealed that she has been unable to eat or sleep well since the incident occurred.

Confirming the incident, Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, SP Dolapo Badmos, said the suspect, Prince Ovivare, is currently in custody and the case will be transferred to the command’s gender desk today.
