Lisaius and Krystin Rae Lisaius According to PEOPLE, they were indicted after their 4-month-old baby was found with cocaine in its system. A public information officer for the Oro Valley Police Department says Krystin Rae Lisaius and Somchai P. Lisaius – both news personalities in the Tucson area – were indicted June 9 on three felony charges: possession of a dangerous drug, drug paraphernalia and child abuse. Both pleaded not guilty in court on Monday, and were released on their own recognizance. Speaking with Tucson News Now about the development, the Lisaius’ lawyer, Michael Piccarreta, said  “It would be a gross, gross injustice [with] even the mention of prison time.” “I anticipate they will demonstrate that they have learned a very hard, embarrassing lesson and that this will become a footnote in their life, not a chapter.”

Nnamdi Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe, the lawyer who is seeking the removal of President Muhammadu Buhari for not sitting for the Cambridge West African School Certificate, has filed a notice at the Federal High Court in Abuja to discontinue the suit. The notice of discontinuance dated June 27 and obtained by THISDAY, read: “ Take note that the plaintiff in this originating summons, Nnamdi Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe, hereby discontinues this action .” According to THISDAY following the withdrawal of the suit, the trial judge, Ademola Adeniyi, is expected to strike out the case. He had said: “Of course, I am concerned and my family and friends are too; I am not naïve and some subtle threats have already been made. English Premier League side, Chelsea FC have reportedly agreed a £33million transfer fee with Marseille, for Michy Batshuayi on a five-year contract. This scary cake design emerged online recently but it has since gone viral, garnering both favourable and unfavourable reactions. Some people are now wondering whether this was baked with the aim of being eaten or scaring away the faint-hearted.  Others are saying that if one can eat this cake without feeling any form of disgust or irritation, then that person needs to go for a checkup. The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is set to offer French coach Paul Le Guen a staggering monthly salary of N16.2m, the equivalent of €44,000 for him to accept the Eagles job. The Lagos state Bar Beach Police division is currently on a manhunt for a Lebanese bureau de change operator simply identified as Aly Sayad, who has been accused of absconding with about N170 million in Victoria Island. According to  PUNCH,   three businessmen had approached the suspect in his office on Idowu Taylor Street, Victoria Island, on Tuesday, to help them change dollars to naira. Sayad then allegedly left the men in his office after collecting the money, saying he was going to the bank to transfer the naira equivalent to their various bank accounts.  However, after several hours passed, the victims were said to have gone to the bank where Sayad claimed he was going to do the transaction but he was nowhere to be found. He was alleged to have fled with the money. Pioneering rock guitarist Scotty Moore, who was a member of Elvis Presley's original band, has died aged 84. He died in Nashville on Tuesday after several months of poor health. He is credited with helping Elvis shape his musical sound and inspired generations of guitarists. Moore was the last survivor of Elvis's original band which included Presley, bassist Bill Black and producer Sam Phillips. As part of The Blue Moon Boys Moore backed Presley on many of his legendary songs including Heartbreak Hotel, Blue Suede Shoes and Jailhouse Rock. The Lagos State Government has clarified the misconception surrounding the unfortunate incident where a street hawker was knocked down by an oncoming truck at Maryland Bus Stop on Wednesday. The street hawker, who was trying to evade arrest from officials of Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI), had attempted to cross the road before being hit by the truck, which was erroneously thought to be a BRT Bus. As a result, hoodlums armed with sticks and stones, immediately descended on some BRT buses plying the route as at the time of the incident and in the process destroyed several of the BRT buses. But the Government in a statement signed the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Steve Ayorinde, said that contrary to the information being circulated in the social media that the street hawker was hit by a BRT bus, it was a truck belonging to a soft drink company that unfortunately hit the boy. “It wasn’t any of our buses that killed him (hawker), it was a soft drink com
