Now that's a flashback! Kim Kardashian seen on 2007 magazine cover when she was best known as Paris Hilton's BFF and referred to herself as 'Princess Kim'

Back before she was a household name, Kim Kardashian gave her first cover interview for complex magazine.

The feature in the February/March 2007 issue sees the socialite before she achieved international stardom, when she was best known as Paris Hilton's BFF.

The 35-year-old reality star - who would have been 26 at the time of the shoot - is seen in black lingerie and Louboutin heels as she smoulders on the front cover.

Alongside her scantily clad image is the text 'Who is Kim Kardashian? Paris Hilton's BFF on sex, lies and video tapes.'  

In the interview the daughter of Kris and Robert Kardashian rates herself a 20 out of ten in bed refers to herself as 'Princess Kim'.

Describing herself as a 'really outdoorsy sports person', Kim told Complex that some of her hobbies were skydiving, skiing and going to parties.

She also denied that she'd made the now infamous sex tape with boyfriend of the time Ray J - but confessed months later when it became public knowledge that there was in fact a video.

Kim also talked about the stigma attached to coming from a weathy family.

'[The biggest misconception is] that we're all trust-fund kids and we have it so easy,' she told Complex.

'If anything, I find it the complete opposite. I know people think we drive around in these nice cars and we do whatever we want and our parents will pay our credit cards, but that's not the case.

'Sure my parents were generous; I got a nice car at 16, but at 19 I was cut off. I've worked really hard. I opened the store myself. Even Paris and Nicole [Richie] — they're completely independent too.'

These days, Kim is no longer close with Paris and Nicole but is still good friends with Brittny Gastineau who she also talked about in the interview.

She also revealed 'I love to go on trips, I remember, I used to tell one of my really good friends, Brandy - the singer Brandy - you know she has every purse and shoe and every outfit. I’d be like, "Let’s not buy a $5,000 bag for once and let’s go on vacation."'

Fast forward to 2015 and Kim has built a money-making empire, is married to megastar rapper Kanye West and amassed a fortune of $85 million.

She is also mother to two-year-old daughter North and one-month-old son Saint.
