Kenyan Man Jumps to His Death From 15th Floor of Nairobi Building
A Kenyan man,
for yet-to-be-confirmed reasons, jumped to his death from the 15th floor of the
Pension Towers in Nairobi.
According to Daily
Nation, the unidentified man had visited his relative who lived in the
building on Lolita Street at around noon. The duo parted ways only for the
Kenyan man to lunge off the window of the building, screaming until he
crashed down below.
Confirming the
incident, the Central Police Chief, Paul Wanjama, said the deceased is
middle-aged, and that his body sustained multiple injuries, including a cracked
skull, which killed the man instantly.
“We are
interrogating a few people to find out what may have triggered the suicide,”
Paul Wanjama said of the incident.
Also, a school
student whose college is nearby to the scene of suicide, said her classmates
saw the man drop form the top floors of the towers as they sat for their
examinations.
“He was
screaming as he went down,” Pauline Njambi said, adding, “When we went
outside, we found him dead. His body was really damaged.”
The corpse of
the Kenyan man has been deposited in the City Mortuary, while the police
continue investigations on events that led up to the man’s death.
