The Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA, holding in Lagos Nigeria may have been successful, but may not have left a found memory for Nigerian female artist, Seyi Shay who fell on stage while performing her latest Yolo Yolo song. The artist who stormed the stage to put up an electrifying performance to spice up the event fell, but was quick enough to pick up her microphone to continue with her performance. Meek Mill 's going after the judge he believes locked him up because of a personal vendetta ... TMZ has learned. Meek's attorney,  Joe Tacopina , tells us ... he's filing a motion for the judge to remove herself from his case, and will also be filing an official complaint with the judicial conduct board.  As we reported, the judge allegedly has it out for Meek because he wouldn't do a Boyz II Men song with a shout out to her in the middle. Tacopina feels the  judge's bad blood  led to the stiff sentence of 2 to 4 years for violating probation. Tacopina says Meek will also be applying to Pennsylvania's Board of Pardons ... but we're told that's more of a Hail Mary because it's normally a 3-year process at least. There's a petition circulating, calling for the BOP and  Governor Tom Wolf  to have Meek's "unjust prison sentence remedied" -- which is now 300,000 strong -- it probably won't help much. Chilean police on Thursday deported a disheveled U.S. boxer Mike Tyson citing non-compliance with immigration laws. Tyson, 51, was put him on a flight home, the Investigative Police (PDI) said. Local media reported that the former world heavyweight champion was planning to attend an awards ceremony for action films taking place in Santiago, Chile’s capital. “Detectives from the International Police are re-boarding Mike Tyson for not complying with immigration law,” the PDI said on its verified Twitter account on Thursday, alongside a photograph of Tyson walking in an airport with two individuals wearing PDI jackets. The PDI did not specify which part of the law Tyson did not comply with, and did not immediately respond to an email and a phone call seeking additional information. Armed robbers on Friday stormed Iyana-Iba market in Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos, carting away phones and other valuables from roadside traders. In what appeared a daredevil robbery operation, the robbers stormed the junction and beat up traders and passers-by who refused to part with their valuables. Our correspondent who was at the scene of the incident report that the robbers emerged from the Igando axis of the road. A roadside trader who identified himself as Ifeanyi said the robbers shot into the air and beat up many passers-by, robbing them of their phones.

The popular Nigerian cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has slammed ace Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, for tagging him as ‘fake’. Bobrisky who was arrested at his Lekki, Lagos home on Tuesday, was released on bail on Friday morning. Bobrisky, who was still in a hotel in Abuja at the time of this report, has also promised to release details of what led to his arrest. He also hinted that he would be quiet for now; but not before he responds to all those who criticised him during his detention. And his first target is Eedris. The latter  granted an interview  with television station TVC wherein he slammed Bobrisky for his sexual orientation. Bobrisky writing on his Instagram page condemned Eedris, for trying to judge him.

Nigerians have reacted to the alleged arrest of Nigerian Male Barbie Bobrisky as the hashtag #Freebobriskry trends on Twitter. Bobrisky was reportedly arrested by operatives of the Lagos state police command, although circumstances surrounding his arrest remains unclear. The online personality, on Monday, revealed he is homosexual. While some Nigerian are in support of the arrest, others have criticized the police.

Rapper Meek Mill has been sentenced to two to four years in prison for violating his probation, according to US media reports. It's after he was jailed in 2008 on drug dealing and gun charges. He's been on probation ever since and was arrested in March after a fight in an airport and again in August for reckless driving, but both charges were dropped. However, a judge said both arrests were a breach of his probation. Prosecutors also provided evidence of failed drugs tests. Jay-Z, who's Roc Nation company represents Meek Mill, called his punishment "unjust and heavy handed". This isn't Meek Mill's first run in with the law. Singer, Abiye David Jumbo popularly known as Mr 2Kay, was robbed at gun point in his hotel room at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Sunday. Sambo Dasuki, former National Security Adviser (NSA), on Wednesday failed to testify in the ongoing trial of Olisa Metuh, former national publicity secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party. Ahmed Raji, Dasuki’s counsel, told the court that his client cannot testify at the sitting due to a loss of memory. He said having spent about two years in DSS custody, the ex-NSA needs access to “relevant files, records and documents required to refresh his memory of any decisions or actions he took or authorised in the course of his duties”. He, therefore, asked the judge to “tarry a while” in the course of the proceeding pending the determination of Dasuki’s appeal in the case. Emeka Etiaba, Metuh’s counsel, agreed with Dasuki’s plea. He said the former NSA needs additional time to go through available documents and records on the case.
