Miley Cyrus Vows to NEVER Walk the Red Carpet Again, Says People are Starving

Controversial singer, Miley Cyrus has made a rather surprising promise to herself – that she will NEVER walk the carpet again.

In the October Issue of Elle Magazine, the 23-year-old We Can’t Stop singer revealed that she has not stepped out for a red carpet event since December when she had to do promo for A Very Murray Christmas.

[A year ago] I had to do the [A Very Murray Christmas] premiere, and I will never do a red carpet again,” she said. “Why, when people are starving, am I on a carpet that’s red? Because I’m ‘important’? Because I’m ‘famous’?”
Miley also revealed that money and making hit songs don’t make her happy in any way.
People in this industry think, I just gotta keep getting more money, and I’m like, What are you getting more money for? You probably couldn’t even spend it all in this lifetime. People get more famous, so that they can make their brand more famous, so that they can sell more s**t, so that they can make more money. It’s a never-ending cycle.
While she is not busy with her foundation, Happy Hippie, which is focused on helping homeless and LGBTQ teens, Miley is working on the set of NBC’s The Voice as a coach.
